Jonathan Rodriguez known as JTruthPA , is a 25yr old Philadelphia native who has been turning heads and pouring positive messages in the hearts of many since the age of 13. Growing up in a community of violence he aspired to use his lyricism and vocal ability to speak his truth and give a bright side of situations many can relate to. At 19, he left his job as a cashier at Hess gas station to study the culture of hip hop and further his music path. When opportunities weren't knocking, the well rounded artist turned to busking as a way of income to survive and an outlet to get his voice heard. Inspired to engage with a bigger audience and wanting to put himself to the test he took a trip to Times Square, NY to busk and challenge himself. Within a few hours after performing a clip of his performance hit 'WSHH' and through this enabled this talented artist the chance to perform his very first stage show at Barry University College in Fort Lauderdale, FL and soon after the chance to further his brand in Las Vegas. After arriving, JTruthPA ended up homeless but wasn't going to let that stop him. Going back to his love of busking he learned his craft and captured the hearts of so many. He gained a lot of attention and used busking as a self made platform to speak his truth and connect with all who listened. His lyricism, energetic flow, passionate melodies, and positivity gives him a unique and original sound. As he always says, "StayWayvBaby" and believe in yourself.
